Brenham Christmas Stroll and Parade (Brenham, TX)

Kickoff your holiday season in style with this charming two-day event, typically held the first weekend in December. Activities include the lighting of the Courthouse Square, caroling, story time, live entertainment, a “Jingle Bell” shopping market, “Breakfast with Santa”, and a Christmas movie shown at the Simon Theatre. And oh, yes, a gorgeous lighted parade held in the heart of downtown Brenham.

Holiday Home Tour (Brenham, TX)

This popular event includes maps for a self-guided tour throughout the historic Hill Country town of Brenham. Each stop on the tour (which changes each year) is exquisitely decorated for the holidays, and hosted by a “Heritage Belle” – your own personal guide who’s on hand to give you the fascinating history and backstory of each residence, dressed in period costume.

The Holiday Home Tour is held the weekend before Thanksgiving and is yet another great way to kick off your holiday season, Texas Hill Country style.
